What is Bike & Py?

Welcome to Bike & Py, your bike shop and café in Lourdes, in the heart of the Pyrenees. Just a stone’s throw from the most beautiful mountain roads and near the legendary Col du Tourmalet, Bike & Py is a place dedicated to all cycling enthusiasts, whether on the road or on mountain bike trails.

We offer bike rentals, bike and equipment sales, as well as a repair workshop to maintain your bike and prepare for your rides with complete peace of mind.

Whether you’re tackling the great Pyrenean passes or exploring the valley’s paths and singletracks, our team will guide you with tailored advice and genuine local knowledge.

Before or after your ride, take a break in our café area, a friendly place to chat, share, and fully experience the mountain spirit. Bike & Py is much more than a shop: it’s a meeting point between cycling, nature, and the Pyrenean way of life.

Who are we?

Bike & Py was born in 2017 from the shared desire of several friends who had known and ridden together for many years. Coming from different backgrounds and professions, we all shared the same passion: cycling, in all its forms.

Several team members have been presidents of the Lourdes VTT club, others have been active members, or simply dedicated enthusiasts.

Thanks to our experience organizing major events (FFC French Cup, UCI Mountain Bike World Cups, enduro mountain bike raids, etc.) and our years of riding and competing, we have acquired expertise that we now bring to Bike & Py.

Whether in our shop, at the café, or for bike rentals, we pride ourselves on offering a warm welcome and quality service, always guided by our passion for cycling and the desire to share it.

Where are we?

We’re based in Lourdes, in the heart of the Pyrenees, just a few kilometers from the Col du Tourmalet and the legendary mountain climbs that have forged the legend of the Tour de France.

Also just a few minutes away, the Pic du Jer bike park offers an exceptional playground and hosted rounds of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup for four years.

Less than a kilometer from the shop begins the Coulée Verte, a cycle path ideal for escaping the everyday and riding close to the mountains.

In short, we’re still looking… but we haven’t yet found a better place in the Pyrenees to live and ride 😊
